Agreement to the Terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of GlaMap websites, applications, accounts, listings, search, booking, messaging, reviews, business-claim tools, and related services. By creating an account or using GlaMap, the user agrees to these Terms and incorporated policies.
If you use GlaMap on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
What GlaMap Is
GlaMap is a technology marketplace and discovery platform connecting Customers with Stores, Workers/Technicians, and independent Freelance Professionals. Unless GlaMap expressly states otherwise for a particular service, GlaMap is not the provider of the underlying beauty, wellness, fitness, pet-care, learning, event, or creative service.
Providers are responsible for the services they offer, their conduct, pricing, service descriptions, qualifications, licensing, taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable law.
Account Types and Eligibility
- Customer - discovers and books eligible services and may submit customer reviews.
- Store/Business - manages a Store profile, services, Workers, availability, business information, and eligible hiring indicators.
- Worker/Technician - may be connected to one or more Stores, subject to GlaMap scheduling and conflict rules.
- Freelance Professional - independently offers eligible services without requiring a parent Store.
Users must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, and promptly update material account information. Users are responsible for activity under their accounts unless caused by GlaMap's own failure to use reasonable security.
Business Listings and Public Information
GlaMap may create or display business listings using public government records or appropriately licensed/authorized data. A listing may exist before an owner claims it. Display of a listing does not mean GlaMap endorses the business or guarantees that every field is current.
Authorized representatives may claim eligible listings under the Business Claim Policy. Requests to correct listing information are handled under the Data Correction Policy.
Provider Services, Licenses, and Verification
Providers may only offer services they are legally permitted and qualified to perform. For regulated services, GlaMap may require license, certification, credential, or other verification before the service is bookable.
GlaMap may suspend or restrict a service or account if credentials expire, verification fails, information appears inaccurate, or continued availability could create legal, safety, or platform-integrity concerns.
Bookings, Availability, and Scheduling
Booking availability is based on provider configuration and platform scheduling rules. A booking is not confirmed until the platform displays confirmation or otherwise communicates confirmed status.
Workers may be connected to multiple Stores, but they may not be booked or scheduled for overlapping commitments. GlaMap may block conflicting times and may account for configured travel/buffer time. Stores do not gain a right to override another confirmed booking.
Cancellations, Rescheduling, No-Shows, and Refunds
Applicable cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, deposit, and refund terms must be shown before booking when relevant. Provider-specific policies may apply if clearly disclosed and permitted by GlaMap.
GlaMap may maintain a single CANCELLED booking state with audit fields or equivalent internal records. A Customer should not be permitted to cancel a service after it has begun unless the product expressly supports an exception. Any future marketplace-wide cancellation/refund rules should be incorporated into these Terms before enforcement.
Payments and Fees
GlaMap may use third-party payment processors. Payment methods, processing fees, provider payouts, taxes, tips, subscriptions, deposits, and marketplace fees will be governed by the terms displayed for the applicable feature.
If GlaMap later launches GlaMap Pay, paid business subscriptions, GlaMap+, marketplace add-ons, gift cards, or wallets, the Terms must be updated with the final commercial rules before those features become binding.
We're Hiring / Find Work
GlaMap's We're Hiring / Find Work feature is a lightweight connection tool, not a full recruiting, staffing, or employment platform. A Store may indicate that it is looking for Workers with specified skills. Workers may search and contact Stores.
A contact, message, profile view, or hiring indicator does not create employment, independent-contractor status, agency, partnership, Store membership, or booking eligibility. If the parties decide to work together, they must complete the applicable Join Store/onboarding process.
Customer Reviews
Eligible Customers may submit ratings and reviews of Stores and Workers/Technicians based on their actual experiences, subject to the Community & Review Policy. GlaMap's current product design does not include internal Store-to-Worker or Worker-to-Store workplace reviews.
GlaMap may moderate, label, restrict, or remove review content under the Community & Review Policy and applicable law.
User Content
Users retain ownership of content they submit, subject to rights they grant GlaMap to host, reproduce, display, format, distribute, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, secure, and improve GlaMap.
Users must have the rights necessary to upload their content and must not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, privacy-invasive, or malicious content.
Acceptable Use
- Do not impersonate another person or business or submit materially false information.
- Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, reverse engineer, overload, disrupt, or bypass platform controls except where expressly permitted by law or written authorization.
- Do not create fake bookings, fake reviews, fraudulent claims, or manipulated ratings.
- Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, or endanger other users.
- Do not use GlaMap to facilitate illegal services or offer regulated services without required authorization.
- Do not upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
Intellectual Property
GlaMap's software, branding, logos, interfaces, design elements, and original platform content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, GlaMap retains its rights.
Third-party names, marks, and content remain the property of their respective owners.
Suspension and Termination
GlaMap may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address violations, fraud, security risks, legal requirements, credential failures, abuse, or material harm to users or the platform. Where appropriate, GlaMap may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlaMap provides the platform on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular provider outcome, the accuracy of every third-party/public-record field, or the quality of services supplied by independent providers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GlaMap and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform. Any monetary cap, exclusions, or jurisdiction-specific exceptions must be finalized by counsel based on GlaMap's legal entity, insurance, business model, and states of operation before publication.
Disputes and Governing Law
The final governing-law, venue, arbitration, class-action waiver, small-claims, and opt-out provisions should be selected by GlaMap's counsel after the legal entity and operating footprint are finalized. GlaMap should not publish placeholder arbitration language as though it were final.
Changes and Contact
GlaMap may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.
